Hello, mystery creator!

Thank you for writing for me for chocolate box this year! I love this exchange for being such a fun, low-stakes way of making and receiving tasty little treats for all sorts of interesting ships and fandoms. My requests this year are a fun variety of old favorites and newer fandoms, with lots of rarepairs, so whatever we may have matched on or share a common interest in, I am excited to see what you choose to create!

Chocolate Box: Dear Author Letter

First and foremost, thank you for writing for me, anonymous stranger!

I'm always awfully long-winded with letters, so I'll try to make this one as comprehensive as possible, and make my extra info as optional as possible. My sign-up itself has prompts for all of my ships, but here you will find extra info on my reading preferences, my thoughts on these canons, and my thoughts on the characters themselves.

If you're considering writing an AU and would like to read a post on the sorts of AUs I like and dislike, that can be found here.

For easy reference, my hard list of no's is the following: gratuitous angst for angst's sake, rape, abuse, physical assault, terminal or mental illnesses, homophobia as a plot device, jealousy as a plot device, pregnancy or child-rearing, and foot fetishes.

Beyond that general info, my opinions about my fandoms are below. I invite you to read whichever sections are relevant to those series we match on, and am very excited that one of these series I'm very fond of is something you're interested in as well!

Chocolate Box: Dear Author Letter

I'm signing up on the last day before signups close, so this letter is going to be blatantly cobbled together from pieces of letters I've written in the past. I'm counting on there being a couple days in between sign-ups closing and assignments going out for me to get this together, but if I'm late: I'm very sorry.

I often go overboard with dear author letters so I intend to use this space purely to talk about things I like and dislike in stories, mostly so you know what I'd like for you to avoid. If you'd like additional information, or additional prompts, feel free to browse my "dear author" tag, as I've requested many of these fandoms in other events.

EDIT: I never updated this post because I figured the optional details in my signup did have enough information for my gifter to get by. I realize I've gone to the pinch hit list, so apparently not. In hopes of making things easier for a potential pinch hitter, this post is a really comprehensive list of my likes and dislikes, if that helps you out.

If you'd like more specific prompts than the info in my optional details, I would still recommend looking at my other dear author letters.
