Hello, mystery creator!
Thank you for writing for me for chocolate box this year! I love this exchange for being such a fun, low-stakes way of making and receiving tasty little treats for all sorts of interesting ships and fandoms. My requests this year are a fun variety of old favorites and newer fandoms, with lots of rarepairs, so whatever we may have matched on or share a common interest in, I am excited to see what you choose to create!
General Information
This year's batch of fandoms and ships is an interesting mix of "fun and wholesome" vs "potentially fucked up and twisted and NSFW" so giving some general rules of engagement that apply across the board is a fun challenge. I will attempt to be both comprehensive and brief!
As an overall note, I only requested fanfiction in my sign-up, because the majority of my prompt ideas just work better as fic. However, I am very welcoming of art gifts as treats, if anyone is somehow interested!

The Likes & Dislikes post is about six years old, but it generally holds true even now. If something in there contradicts a request or a prompt here, this letter takes precedence, but really, don't stress about the details too much. As a general rule, I loooove stories that want to talk about Gender and how characters experience and navigate it. With most of my fandoms, I do prefer that characters retain their canonical gender identities (I.E. prefer to see male characters as trans men rather than trans women and vice versa, and want canon trans characters to have their canon gender), but if you have a story in your heart for a gender headcanon I didn't explicitly request and it just really, really wants a home, give it to me. If you love it and really, really want to tell it, I will almost definitely love it as well.
For my original works requests, I would prefer characters tagged as female not to be genderswapped to cis dudes but besides that, all genders stated or unstated are open to interpretation. I will take whatever gender combinations you want to throw at me. I love every combination of character genders when the characters themselves are fun.

Request One | Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

General Thoughts: I really love Deep Space Nine! Sisko is a great captain and DS9 overall does such a good job at balancing monster-of-the-week plots with the overarching plot of the series. I love pretty much the entire cast a whole lot! I'm requesting Dukat/Kira, which is definitely more of a dirty-nasty-bad-wrong ship, but if you want to throw in additional characters or mentions of other ships, pretty much anything is fair game. I will say I am especially partial to Odo/Quark, Garak/Bashir, and Miles/Keiko/Kira. I am also a huge fan of mirrorverse in general and mirrorverse Kira in particular, evil Kira is stupid hot and I love her a lot.
My preferred dynamic here is for Kira to be more in control of the situation than Dukat, and for Kira to not be having a BAD time while Dukat is having an objectively GOOD time. They can both have a bad time, but ideally Dukat should be having a worse time. I love Gul Dukat and I want him to eat just astronomical amounts of shit. I want him to get exactly what he thinks he wants only to find out that he hates it. This is my dream.

Request Two | Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town
Ships:

General Thoughts: I have loved the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons franchise for sooooo many years now and, while I am consistently endeared to each new location's cast of characters, it is rare that they really catch me with a desire for fanwork. But Pioneers of Olive Town really did it! This is a canon where I definitely prefer more quiet, cozy, comfort read kind of stories, and where I'm not really interested in AUs. Feel free to add changes on top, but the basic "farm" setting is really important to my enjoyment.
I got very caught on how much Damon wants to hang out with Lars and his brother and, by extension, Beth, and by the feeling that he doesn't QUITE fit in with this group of young adults who are just a liiiiittle old to be peers, but that they never make him feel unwelcome or not part of their group. I'd love to see anything that utilizes that dynamic! I also love that Lars is so supportive of Beth and her neuroses just by being a laid-back dude who goes with the flow. Their relationship is so cute and I'd love to see it depicted that way.

General Thoughts: I love Penumbra Podcast sooooo muuuuuch, I love this universe where queer is the normal, where just about every character is gay or trans or both and you have to pick out the occasional token straight one. I love how it wants to talk about so many themes that I deeply love and struggle to find depicted in popular media in ways that resonate with me, in the exact way I want to see these things portrayed. If you are somehow reading this section WITHOUT having listened to The Penumbra Podcast, please try it! I cannot rec it highly enough! I have re-listened to it sooooo many times and will continue to do so!
I do love Juno and Peter Nureyev with an intense and deeply offended passion, how DARE this series come for me and my formative enjoyment of detective/master thief relationships! But Juno/Peter is about 80% of the fanwork for this fandom and so I'd really love to see content for my smaller ships. Every single one of these relationships has a "figuring shit out about gender and/or sexuality" component and that IS the thing I would most like to see explored, in any way a creator might like to explore it.
I don't have strong race or appearance headcanons for the characters and like to see different interpretations, so as long as you don't contradict firm descriptors we've been given (Angelo is a large man, Jet is a large man, yes this is what is most important to me), feel free to incorporate whatever headcanons you choose!
For this fandom, I would prefer not to receive "other universe" AUs. Canon divergent AUs are fine, but I'd like the Junoverse characters to stay in (some version of) Junoverse, and the Second Citadel characters to stay in (some version of) Second Citadel. But, for example, if you want to write the story where Sir Damien, Rilla, and Lord Arum have a life together in the time of the FIRST Citadel, I would be down!

General Thoughts: I have loved pokemon for significantly more years of my life than I have NOT loved pokemon and when it comes down to it, my fandom inclinations just forever live in Kanto. I love thinking about gym leaders, the pokemon league, and what it's like being in a prominent authority role in pokemon universe (be that as a gym leader, elite four member, or champion). I prefer stories that fill in these areas of the world that the games can only touch on, over stories that focus on the hero's journey experience of the protagonists.
I requested for gameverse, not pokespe, because gameverse is my primary canon for pokemon and I'm really only familiar with pokespe through the Yellow arc. HOWEVER, the plot element where Lt. Surge, Koga, and Sabrina are secretly Giovanni's Team Rocket lieutenants has lived rent-free in my head for almost 20 years now. If you would like to use that element, I will adore it – no pokespe knowledge required, because my pokespe knowledge is limited, though you're welcome to include pokespe elements if you're familiar with it – but those three are among my favorite leaders with or without that angle. I will equally adore a story about their lives as upstanding gym leaders.
Re: character ages, if you prefer to write Red, Silver, Gloria, and/or Raihan as eighteen at minimum, aging them up or otherwise setting a story when they're older is fine by me. I would prefer that none of them be TEN, but I would enjoy a story where any of those four is still a teen. Mostly, I did request them in ships where their partner is significantly older, and regardless of the younger party's exact age, I would prefer that the age and experience difference be an element in a story told about them.
Re: character names, I strongly prefer the English names, but if you really, really prefer the Japanese names and usually write pokemon fic with those names, please do use the names you're more familiar with. I do appreciate using my preference if you don't have a strong one.
Re: crossovers, if you also share one of my other fandoms and would like to write a pokemon AU for one of those requested ships, I'll take it. I will adore it. No fandom is off-limits; if you can figure out how to put Dukat and Kira into pokemon world, I want to see it! Robots in pokemon world? No problem! I love pokemon AUs for everything.

General Thoughts: Prince of Tennis is one of those fandoms, for me, where once you get into it, you never get out. The anime is my primary canon – I didn't read the manga but I am familiar with a lot of the differences between the manga and anime events – and I'm primarily a fan of the original series and older OVAs. I haven't seen much of shinpuri at all. I have seen all of second season of tenimyu (the musicals) and only bits of first and third. That all said, I don't care about spoilers (it's tennis) so feel free to draw on any and all bits of this hilariously sprawling canon. The thing that brought me back most recently is the English localization of the Rising Beat rhythm game, which is full of additional fun nonsense, so feel free to draw on that as well!
Re: ships, I love plant trio and I love rarepair nonsense. I also love polyamory, so if you would like to daisy chain any of my requests together, please do, you are limited only by your imagination. I would prefer no focus on unrequested ships but if you'd really like to throw in some mentions, please do not include Tezuka/Fuji, Momoshirou/Kaidou, or any Atobe ship other than Atobe/Kabaji. Anything else is more or less fair game. I do especially like Inui/Kaidou, Inui/Yanagi, and Yukimura/Sanada, if you'd like to have those in the background.
Re: themes and content, I would prefer future fic or AUs the most, or just generally stories where the characters are older than thirteen as an average. For stories set in the "real world," I would prefer stories that don't revolve around tennis or at least ones that don't feature on-page tennis matches. I know these kids physically cannot pass a tennis version of the Bechdel Test but I see enough matches in canon, I don't need more in fanfiction. If you enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, any AU in any sci-fi or fantasy setting would be greatly loved!
For this fandom, I don't have a lot of concrete prompts. I just really love AUs and beyond that, most of my ideas are "here are my thoughts on what this ship dynamic could be like."

General Thoughts: The first run of the IDW comics is, at this point, my primary canon for Transformers. I love all the worldbuilding and the massive scope, and the way the comics really dug into a lot of the messy, ugly parts of what Cybertronian society and living through a war is like, with a lot of empathy and nuance and attention to detail. Not every arc or author nailed the nuance, there's plenty of straightforward "explosions go boom!" but what really captivated me was the parts of the comics that want to talk about the Tough Stuff.
Feel free to use any plot arcs, factoids, trivia, and details from any part of Transformers canon – if you're writing TF, you know what it's like to play fast and loose with the continuity soup – and don't worry about spoiling me for anything. I have not read every single issue in the IDW gen 1 run but I have read a lot of the early arcs, not just MTMTE and Lost Light. I will say that I am not a Bay Movies fan and would prefer minimal inclusion of movie canon or, really, of any content about humans on Earth with this set of requests, but otherwise… Have at it!
Basically all of my ships are complete rarepair nonsense, because one of the most fun things about IDW comics is getting to throw the established TF characters together in more and more ridiculous and different combinations, and I just want to see more of that.
Re: fandom-specific themes and content, I'd actually prefer pre-war, no-war, or post-war settings to anything set during the war. I love fictional politics but stories set during the war are thick on the ground in this fandom and it's just not what I want to see right now. I love jets! Scientists! Decepticons! I love all sorts of AUs but prefer AUs where the robots are still robots and some version of Cybertron exists; I'm not really interested in humanformer AUs.
Re: other ships, I want rarepair content so I'd prefer the more "popular" ships be excluded even as a minor element. Specifically, I only want to see Megatron/Optimus Prime if they're exes and I don't want to see Drift/Ratchet, everything else is fair game as seasoning and background. I do love Megatron/Starscream and Megatron/Rodimus so mention of either of those will delight me. I also love Megatron and Starscream as exes. Break up my ship, fuck me up, I love it.
Re: sexual content, I enjoy sticky and plug-and-play stories, so if you'd like to write porn, I'm open to whatever flavor of robot sex you want to throw at me. My favorite is definitely a combination of sticky, PNP, and tactile, and I will say that I find spark merging boring if it's the only thing going on – it's much more interesting as a dangerous show of trust that might be included in sexual goings-on, but is absolutely not a standard or primary part of sex.
Character Thoughts: I figured I'd do a little character section for my two beloved flight frames that feature in a ton of my requested ships, rather than rehashing the same thoughts in my prompts for each individual ship. Let me tell you about Pharma and Starscream.

General Thoughts: If the IDW Comics are my main Transformers canon, Prime is my FIRST Transformers canon. This is the continuity that made me go, oh my god, I want fanwork for this thing. (something that neither the G1 cartoon or the Bayverse movies managed, alas.) It has such a dear and beloved place in my heart; I love all of the Prime character designs, especially Starscream and Soundwave, I love how pointy and sharp-edged and angular all of the Decepticons are in Prime. This is the Transformers canon where I want stories set on Earth, with humans, but I'm also down for… Basically any sort of AU where the robots stay robots. I'd prefer the humans stay human, too. I'm not personally a big fan of "what if the human characters were robots on Cybertron?" AUs.
Re: other ships, I like Optimus Prime/Ratchet, Jack/Arcee, Megatron/Starscream, and Knock Out/Breakdown specifically and only if it's A Little Messed Up, because keeping your lover's reanimated corpse around to do horrific medical experiments on is just NOT a normal course of action which makes me think someone was in a healthy and well-adjusted relationship. I also like Optimus Prime and Megatron as exes. If you'd like to include any of these ships in mention or as background alongside my requested ship(s), have at it, but please do not include any other unrequested ships.

General Thoughts: I've requested a lot of original work relationships and this letter is already an entire dissertation's worth of thoughts, so I've organized these ships into little groups with a uniting theme. Many of the tags are prompts unto themselves so if you already have an idea from the tag alone, run with it! If not, I'll be throwing out prompts and ideas that can be generalized across all the relationships with similar themes.
I love science fiction and fantasy settings!! Many of these requests are already explicitly SF&F but for the ones that aren't, if you'd like to throw them into a SF&F setting, please do! I love unique characters, fun interpersonal dynamics, and interesting worldbuilding, so anything with focus on those elements will be greatly loved. NSFW is far from a requirement but this is the "fandom" where I'm most willing and interested in reading stories that include dubcon or noncon. No pressure if that's not your cuppa, but if you are someone who likes to write things that are messy and ugly and not entirely pleasant, I will take your dead doves and treasure them dearly.

Prompts and Ideas:
- Hatesex or Hate Relationship :: any situation where Kira willingly involves herself, be it a one-night stand or something more ongoing/not necessarily sexual, with Dukat, and where she's primarily in it because of anger, a desire to take out her feelings on him, a desire to in some way get revenge on him, or anything else in that vein.
- Mirrorverse Kira :: I'd love to see what mirrorverse Kira and mirrorverse Dukat are getting up to, but I would especially love to see original universe Dukat thrown into the mirrorverse and into Kira's clutches. Bonus points for Dukat to initially be very into the situation, only for him to gradually realize that neither the mirrorverse nor Kira are going to be kind to him.
- Ship-Specific Do-Not-Wants :: I don't especially want to see anything set during the occupation, or anything with maledom. I just don't like Dukat in that role. I don't want full-on noncon, even with mirrorverse Kira.
- Ship-Specific Porn Prompts :: FEMDOM, competitive sex, interesting xeno anatomy or sexual practices re: Cardassians, mindgames from either or both sides, humiliation for Dukat, bondage, rough sex, Dukat being into (insert weird/painful/humiliating kink here) that Kira proposed or initiated out of anger. My preferred consent level here is definitely "both parties are willing but one or both may have regrets during or after, or may come close to tapping out."
- Other Misc Ideas :: I'm down for canon-divergent AUs, various situations where Kira and Dukat are isolated and have to work together, and any story that really just wants to be a Dukat character study because the way he rationalizes and justifies himself is fascinating. If you want to focus or reference the thing between Dukat and Kira's mom, have at it; I do find it to be a deliciously messed up extra layer to their dynamic.

But Pioneers of Olive Town really did it! This is a canon where I definitely prefer more quiet, cozy, comfort read kind of stories, and where I'm not really interested in AUs. Feel free to add changes on top, but the basic "farm" setting is really important to my enjoyment.
I got very caught on how much Damon wants to hang out with Lars and his brother and, by extension, Beth, and by the feeling that he doesn't QUITE fit in with this group of young adults who are just a liiiiittle old to be peers, but that they never make him feel unwelcome or not part of their group. I'd love to see anything that utilizes that dynamic! I also love that Lars is so supportive of Beth and her neuroses just by being a laid-back dude who goes with the flow. Their relationship is so cute and I'd love to see it depicted that way.
Prompts and Ideas:
- Damon Character Study :: Damon is the character I see this OT3 hinging on, so I would especially love fic that really examines his thoughts, feelings, motivations, wants, etc. Damon POV would be really fun, but I'd also really love Lars (or Beth) POV for that "seeing the character through another lens" experience.
- New & Developing Relationship :: I'd especially love a story that shows how Damon gets together with Lars and Beth! Since Lars and Beth are canonically together, I see this as an OT3 where the third has to be integrated with the existing couple, and seeing how that might play out is really fun. How does Damon navigate having a crush on Lars or Beth or both? How do their feelings about him grow and change? How do they handle talking about these developments?
- Growing Pains :: Show me any situation where Damon being younger and less experienced is a pain point for them! I see Lars and Beth being very kind and understanding of him being younger and maybe a little try-hard about it, but I'd love to see Damon struggling with the age difference, or life experience difference.
- Established Relationship :: On the flipside, I am also down for established relationship fluff and domesticity. Show me what their relationship looks like once it's solid and comfortable! In a similar vein, I'd be happy to see what their sex life looks like, or their first time being sexually intimate as a triad. This is a ship where I have less interest in porn than with other ships in other fandoms I've requested, and I'm not interested in PWP, but I love sex as vehicle for character study.

General Thoughts: I love Penumbra Podcast sooooo muuuuuch, I love this universe where queer is the normal, where just about every character is gay or trans or both and you have to pick out the occasional token straight one. I love how it wants to talk about so many themes that I deeply love and struggle to find depicted in popular media in ways that resonate with me, in the exact way I want to see these things portrayed. If you are somehow reading this section WITHOUT having listened to The Penumbra Podcast, please try it! I cannot rec it highly enough! I have re-listened to it sooooo many times and will continue to do so!
I do love Juno and Peter Nureyev with an intense and deeply offended passion, how DARE this series come for me and my formative enjoyment of detective/master thief relationships! But Juno/Peter is about 80% of the fanwork for this fandom and so I'd really love to see content for my smaller ships. Every single one of these relationships has a "figuring shit out about gender and/or sexuality" component and that IS the thing I would most like to see explored, in any way a creator might like to explore it.
I don't have strong race or appearance headcanons for the characters and like to see different interpretations, so as long as you don't contradict firm descriptors we've been given (Angelo is a large man, Jet is a large man, yes this is what is most important to me), feel free to incorporate whatever headcanons you choose!
For this fandom, I would prefer not to receive "other universe" AUs. Canon divergent AUs are fine, but I'd like the Junoverse characters to stay in (some version of) Junoverse, and the Second Citadel characters to stay in (some version of) Second Citadel. But, for example, if you want to write the story where Sir Damien, Rilla, and Lord Arum have a life together in the time of the FIRST Citadel, I would be down!
Prompts and Ideas:
- Cassandra Kanagawa/Cecil Kanagawa/Juno Steel :: I would looooove to see anything about Juno's past with the Kanagawa twins. I don't believe canon explicitly confirmed this, but I always saw them as identical twins where one (Cecil) was binary trans, but am open to any gender headcanon for the twins OTHER than "they are both cis." This is a ship where I expect things to be messy and ugly and complicated, and to probably not have a happy ending, so like. Just fuck me up. That's it that's the entire prompt.
Other ideas: get-together fic, polyamory negotiation, I'm super fine with incest but I'm also fine with it being a poly-V and them needing to navigate the logistics of that, break-up fic or fic otherwise chronicling how the relationship ultimately falls apart. - Ale of Milltown/Sir Angelo :: Sir Angelo deals very badly with both Ale's gender and his own sexuality and I really want him to get the boy, but I also don't want it to be easy for him. I'd love to see Angelo sorting himself out in his bullheaded, has-never-heard-of-self-reflection, Sir Angelo way. I feel this is a tough ship to make work within the limiting constraints of Second Citadel's timeline, so it's a ship where I'd be especially interested in canon divergent or alternative canon AUs. Get-together fic would be lovely, but if you're porn-inclined, Sir Angelo taking Ale's strap while (optionally) being called "schoolboy" in a sex way would make my day.
- Jet Siquliak/M'tendere :: Tools of Rust gave me literally everything I wanted from that plotline except for M'tendere not dying, so I would give a lot for fix-it fic where M'tendere lives. I'd also really love to see backstory and/or canon divergent fic where they interact more while Jet is still the Unnatural Disaster. I believe Jet is canonically aroace but that doesn't preclude all forms of personal intimacy; I'd really love to see fic that explores what kind of relationship he would want with M'tendere and how they might navigate their respective boundaries and all of the baggage from their pasts. I'm really interested in their themes of doing and mitigating harm, and making reparations for past harms, and anything that continues to work with that theme will be loved.
- Lord Arum/Sir Damien/Rilla :: XENO OT3 OF MY HEART. Give me any variety of xeno porn and I will be happy. If you are not porn-inclined, I'd really love any story with healthy communication. It did kind of bum me out to go from the three of them FINALLY all coming together and working out that they're willing to try this new and fragile three-person thing at the end of season one, to them all being mad at each other at the start of season two. Relationships are hard! Of course they will have issues! But I wanted to see them being happy in their little honeymoon period bubble before starting to stomp on each other's toes. So just… Anything with the relationship working, or with them encountering a problem but figuring out how to talk about it and solve it and be stronger for it, will make me really happy.

General Thoughts: I have loved pokemon for significantly more years of my life than I have NOT loved pokemon and when it comes down to it, my fandom inclinations just forever live in Kanto. I love thinking about gym leaders, the pokemon league, and what it's like being in a prominent authority role in pokemon universe (be that as a gym leader, elite four member, or champion). I prefer stories that fill in these areas of the world that the games can only touch on, over stories that focus on the hero's journey experience of the protagonists.
I requested for gameverse, not pokespe, because gameverse is my primary canon for pokemon and I'm really only familiar with pokespe through the Yellow arc. HOWEVER, the plot element where Lt. Surge, Koga, and Sabrina are secretly Giovanni's Team Rocket lieutenants has lived rent-free in my head for almost 20 years now. If you would like to use that element, I will adore it – no pokespe knowledge required, because my pokespe knowledge is limited, though you're welcome to include pokespe elements if you're familiar with it – but those three are among my favorite leaders with or without that angle. I will equally adore a story about their lives as upstanding gym leaders.
Re: character ages, if you prefer to write Red, Silver, Gloria, and/or Raihan as eighteen at minimum, aging them up or otherwise setting a story when they're older is fine by me. I would prefer that none of them be TEN, but I would enjoy a story where any of those four is still a teen. Mostly, I did request them in ships where their partner is significantly older, and regardless of the younger party's exact age, I would prefer that the age and experience difference be an element in a story told about them.
Re: character names, I strongly prefer the English names, but if you really, really prefer the Japanese names and usually write pokemon fic with those names, please do use the names you're more familiar with. I do appreciate using my preference if you don't have a strong one.
Re: crossovers, if you also share one of my other fandoms and would like to write a pokemon AU for one of those requested ships, I'll take it. I will adore it. No fandom is off-limits; if you can figure out how to put Dukat and Kira into pokemon world, I want to see it! Robots in pokemon world? No problem! I love pokemon AUs for everything.

- Cynthia/Gloria :: The ridiculous cross-region femslash ship of my heart! I know Cynthia/Dawn is Right There but I really adore Gloria and I love the different dynamic you get when it's another region's up-and-comer and the Sinnoh Champion. I'd prefer a Gloria who is either towards the end of her gym challenge or newly become champ, because I want a Gloria who is confident and capable but still inexperienced with having notoriety and being in the public eye, vs Cynthia who is an old hand with the public stuff but who could benefit from the refreshing perspective of someone New and Fresh to the position. I love that Cynthia and Gloria CAN be Champion at the same time, in their respective regions. For some specific ideas: meet-cute, Gloria and Cynthia working together on cross-region league business, Gloria meeting Cynthia who is vacationing in Galar so she can visit Galarian historical sites and learn about the local mythology, and anything focusing on the different perspectives they have due to the age gap or on Cynthia wanting to be a mentor to Gloria.
- Lance/Raihan :: I noticed that Raihan's gym uniform design seems to be a homage to Lance's Champion outfit and completely lost my mind. I want young Raihan seeing Lance on TV and for that to change the entire course of his life. I want Lance as his inspiration to train dragon-types, as his inspiration to join the league and BECOME a leader. For specific prompts, any sort of meet-cute would be amazing (cooperation between the Galar and Kanto pokemon leagues? Lance comes to Galar and Raihan is tasked by the league with showing him local dragon-related locations? Raihan goes to Kanto or Johto for (insert gym leader or dragon trainer reasons) and just bumps into Lance? Anything!), or anything that showcases Raihan's social media savvy. I love stories about characters Performing Identity and anything really highlighting the difference between the persona Raihan shows to the public and his personality in private would be amazing. I'm also down for unrequited feelings from Raihan toward Lance, as long as they have some sort of meaningful interaction in the story and it isn't just from afar.
- Giovanni/Red :: If you can write something Nice for these two, I'd love to see it, but I definitely imagine it more as a bad-dirty-wrong antagonism ship. Please lean into the age gap being incredibly messed up EXACTLY as far as you're comfortable with going. For specific scenarios, I'd love something with Giovanni endeavoring to corrupt Red or working to get Red to join Team Rocket, or something where Red does join Team Rocket and what that looks like. A big part of what's compelling about Red is that he is terrifyingly powerful as a trainer from a really, really young age, and I love the idea of Giovanni coveting that, bringing it to his side and turning it into something truly horrifying, or just slowly crushing it because no matter how powerful Red is, Giovanni has a lifetime of experience on him. I prefer a Giovanni who is undeniably a Bad Man but ideally not a caricature of evil or a one-note rapist. I'm down for dubcon or noncon but I want Giovanni to be intelligent and I'd like him to use the lure of power over mere force.
- Giovanni/Koga :: There are two big things I'd love to see with this ship. For the timeline where Koga is a Team Rocket lieutenant, I like a Koga who is deeply loyal to Giovanni and where the ship therefore has a bit of a lord/knight dynamic. Anything exploring that dynamic and the complexity of having a relationship in a boss/subordinate situation would be loved. On the flipside, in the timeline where Koga is an upstanding gym leader, I would adore any story about Koga having a relationship with Giovanni while also looking into Team Rocket's nefarious deeds and while trying to identify their mysterious leader. Imagining Koga finding out that Team Rocket's leader is none other than his long-time lover is just delicious. Beyond those two prompts – I just love Koga and love Giovanni and will love any story that makes them shine.
- Lt. Surge & Koga & Sabrina OR Lt. Surge/Koga/Sabrina :: I'll take platonic or romantic content with these three; if you'd prefer to write just one pair out of the triad, I'll also take it, so long as the third character still features prominently and is important to them. Show me their respective and differing gym leader duties! Show me them in Rocket Lieutenant AU helping each other avoid revealing their Rocket allegiance! Show me Koga with his crobat and Sabrina with her kadabra (I love those pokemon especially). Show me get-together fic, show me how the dynamic between each bar of the triangle is different from the others, show me established relationship content where they balance work with making time for two lovers. If you are NSFW inclined, my heart for Koga who's into shibari. (Imagine SURGE in shibari. Imagine escape artist Surge who likes trying to get out of ties.) Koga OR Sabrina being into sensory deprivation, on the giving or receiving end, would also be fascinating. I just think any or all of them might be into Niche Kink shit and I would love to see it.
- Sabrina/Silver :: The thing I want most is Silver somehow coming to Sabrina when he runs away and winding up with Sabrina as a mentor. I like this with upstanding gym leader Sabrina who helps Silver become a better person (much like his maturation in canon) and with Rocket lieutenant Sabrina who makes Silver much, much worse. Sabrina helping Silver become the sort of heir who can take over Team Rocket, and that happening, would be amazing. If this avenue isn't to your taste, though, give me anything that makes their characters shine. I love Sabrina a lot and love seeing her being brilliant and terrifying; I also am a big fan of Genuine Psychic Sabrina, so any premise that plays with that to make the plot go is amazing.

General Thoughts: Prince of Tennis is one of those fandoms, for me, where once you get into it, you never get out. The anime is my primary canon – I didn't read the manga but I am familiar with a lot of the differences between the manga and anime events – and I'm primarily a fan of the original series and older OVAs. I haven't seen much of shinpuri at all. I have seen all of second season of tenimyu (the musicals) and only bits of first and third. That all said, I don't care about spoilers (it's tennis) so feel free to draw on any and all bits of this hilariously sprawling canon. The thing that brought me back most recently is the English localization of the Rising Beat rhythm game, which is full of additional fun nonsense, so feel free to draw on that as well!
Re: ships, I love plant trio and I love rarepair nonsense. I also love polyamory, so if you would like to daisy chain any of my requests together, please do, you are limited only by your imagination. I would prefer no focus on unrequested ships but if you'd really like to throw in some mentions, please do not include Tezuka/Fuji, Momoshirou/Kaidou, or any Atobe ship other than Atobe/Kabaji. Anything else is more or less fair game. I do especially like Inui/Kaidou, Inui/Yanagi, and Yukimura/Sanada, if you'd like to have those in the background.
Re: themes and content, I would prefer future fic or AUs the most, or just generally stories where the characters are older than thirteen as an average. For stories set in the "real world," I would prefer stories that don't revolve around tennis or at least ones that don't feature on-page tennis matches. I know these kids physically cannot pass a tennis version of the Bechdel Test but I see enough matches in canon, I don't need more in fanfiction. If you enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, any AU in any sci-fi or fantasy setting would be greatly loved!
For this fandom, I don't have a lot of concrete prompts. I just really love AUs and beyond that, most of my ideas are "here are my thoughts on what this ship dynamic could be like."

- Fuji Shuusuke/Kawamura Takashi :: My ideal takafuji dynamic is "Fuji is terrifying and, while Taka is just about the Softest boy ever (ignore the "burning!" thing) by comparison, he is highly qualified to bear Fuji's Intensity with grace and pleasure." Fuji is such a brittle, twisted, fascinating character and I think he would really, really benefit from someone who can be a grounding presence and who will easily accept all his messy, ugly, jagged parts. I'm also fascinated by how Fuji consistently only becomes "serious" when he has someone to champion and avenge, so any story that plays with that (in any context) would be amazing. Other ideas: quiet domestic established relationship moments, cacti, sushi-making, cooking together, x-gender or transfem Fuji, Fuji wearing dresses in general, alien Fuji + human Taka in a sci-fi AU, Fuji having a Weird, Niche, Shameful Kink and Taka happily engaging in it with him.
- Fuji Shuusuke/Kite Eishirou :: My entire pitch for this ship is "Kite is the black widow, the assassin, but Fuji is terrifying; I want to see Kite be thoroughly outplayed and terrified and to realize he is Into It." My other pitch for this ship is "Kite is into fashion design and tailors (his team's uniform) clothing; Fuji is constantly put in women's clothing in gag material. I want Kite to dress Fuji." These two are great for SF&F, spy, assassin, and similar AUs, but I also like the idea of them in the real world having a relationship where they roleplay those sorts of scenarios in the bedroom. I'd also love to see anything with formal clothing and/or formal dancing. Maybe Fuji steps on Kite's dick in heels, who can say.
- Kite Eishirou/Shiraishi Kuranosuke :: My pitch for this ship is "Kite is this black widow assassin type and Shiraishi is Really Into Poisonous Plants, let's talk about that." Shiraishi is also a huge adrenaline junkie – drawing on his internal narrative in his match vs Fuji and some of his character songs – so I like the idea of him being attracted to Kite because Kite is also something dangerous, like his beloved plants. They'd be great in all sorts of high-stakes AUs, but I also like the thought of them going into the same real-world industry and being a terrifying tag-team. If you are NSFW-inclined, anything with Shiraishi on the receiving end of thrill-seeking kinks (asphyxiation, sensory deprivation, knifeplay, etc) would be fun.
- Ishida Tetsu/Shiraishi Kuranosuke :: Ishida Tetsu is the younger brother of Shiraishi's teammate, Gin, and I just find the idea of Shiraishi pursuing Gin's younger brother, much to Gin's suppressed dislike, to be amazingly hilarious. That's the entire basis of this ship. The idea that maybe Tetsu went to Fudomine at Gin's urging, so he'd move away from Gin's teammate who Gin thinks should stop being a weird flirt? Also hilarious! I'd prefer a Shiraishi who is not actually a creep – he's just genuinely into Tetsu and is shameless as a person. Bonus points for Tetsu being amazingly normal compared to every Shitenhoji player but for him and Shiraishi to get along unexpectedly, amazingly well. Gin dislikes it but he'll just. Go meditate on it. It'll be fine. If you uhhhhh have another idea for this ship, have at it, but it's a complete nonsense crackship so I have no idea what else you might give me. Bring it on!
- Sanada Genichirou/Shiraishi Kuranosuke :: My preferred dynamic here is "Sanada is wound so tight he's about to explode into five million pieces at all times; Shiraishi is really into yoga and collecting health goods and personal well-being. Shiraishi should teach Sanada how to relax." Bonus points for fixing Sanada as a Yukimura-wooing technique, because Yukimura made him that way and liked him terrifying, so it gets Yukimura's attention. I'd prefer for Shiraishi to genuinely care about Sanada and his mental well-being if you go that route, though; he's not just a prop to get someone else. I will also take AUs! I will take anything that celebrates Sanada and Shiraishi as characters!
- Shiraishi Kuranosuke/Yukimura Seiichi :: THE TINY RAREPAIR SHIP OF MY HEART. I would love to see everything I requested, because they're all rarepairs and I am starving, but this one is My Beloved, the OTP, the ship of my tennis dreams. My preferred dynamic is "Yukimura is Terrifying and Intense and Shiraishi is drawn to that like a moth to a flame, but also has a lot of common interests with Yukimura and is a great person to both keep up with Yukimura and balance him out and ground him a little." I just think they fit together really well!! I'll take get-together fic, established relationship, wild kinky porn, any sort of AU. I want them to kiss. I want them to kiss and be really into it, if you give me this you can give me basically anything else on top of it.
- Yagyuu Hiroshi/Yukimura Seiichi :: I am really, really into the concept of, for lack of a better term, oppositional defiant Yagyuu who has sublimated that into being this perfect, flawless, class rep gentleman. Yagyuu who hates authority so much he's become one, so no one will ever have more authority over him than he has over himself, who loves being Niou because it's his one opportunity to tear off the mask and choose violence. My preferred dynamic for Yukimura/Yagyuu, therefore, is "Yukimura is the one Authority Yagyuu will respect and he will absolutely die for Yukimura." I'll take it in canon but I think the dynamic can be amazing in AUs. I also like the idea that Yukimura did, at some point, do something to earn Yagyuu's loyalty and respect, so another option is to explore what Yukimura did to earn it.
- Yanagi Renji/Yukimura Seiichi :: Ahhhhhh another of my beloved rarepairs. I love Yanagi as an Inui-foil and the big difference I see between them is that Inui is willing to do anything for more data. He will take the long shots, he's willing to lose, if there is some percent chance of success and something to be gained, he'll put himself through all sorts of suffering. Yanagi, on the flipside, is the flight risk. He runs rather than saying goodbye; he's the one who uses data to determine success and if the numbers don't support him, he'll cut and run. So what I love with Yukimura/Yanagi is for Yukimura to be Yanagi's blind spot. For Yukimura, Yanagi will take the long odds, he'll fight the fights Yukimura demands of him, he'll prioritize his loyalty over dignity. And I love Yukimura knowing this and, not per se abusing it, but delicately pushing Yanagi to the limits of his loyalty. Anything that plays with these ideas and really showcases their personalities will be loved.

General Thoughts: The first run of the IDW comics is, at this point, my primary canon for Transformers. I love all the worldbuilding and the massive scope, and the way the comics really dug into a lot of the messy, ugly parts of what Cybertronian society and living through a war is like, with a lot of empathy and nuance and attention to detail. Not every arc or author nailed the nuance, there's plenty of straightforward "explosions go boom!" but what really captivated me was the parts of the comics that want to talk about the Tough Stuff.
Feel free to use any plot arcs, factoids, trivia, and details from any part of Transformers canon – if you're writing TF, you know what it's like to play fast and loose with the continuity soup – and don't worry about spoiling me for anything. I have not read every single issue in the IDW gen 1 run but I have read a lot of the early arcs, not just MTMTE and Lost Light. I will say that I am not a Bay Movies fan and would prefer minimal inclusion of movie canon or, really, of any content about humans on Earth with this set of requests, but otherwise… Have at it!
Basically all of my ships are complete rarepair nonsense, because one of the most fun things about IDW comics is getting to throw the established TF characters together in more and more ridiculous and different combinations, and I just want to see more of that.
Re: fandom-specific themes and content, I'd actually prefer pre-war, no-war, or post-war settings to anything set during the war. I love fictional politics but stories set during the war are thick on the ground in this fandom and it's just not what I want to see right now. I love jets! Scientists! Decepticons! I love all sorts of AUs but prefer AUs where the robots are still robots and some version of Cybertron exists; I'm not really interested in humanformer AUs.
Re: other ships, I want rarepair content so I'd prefer the more "popular" ships be excluded even as a minor element. Specifically, I only want to see Megatron/Optimus Prime if they're exes and I don't want to see Drift/Ratchet, everything else is fair game as seasoning and background. I do love Megatron/Starscream and Megatron/Rodimus so mention of either of those will delight me. I also love Megatron and Starscream as exes. Break up my ship, fuck me up, I love it.
Re: sexual content, I enjoy sticky and plug-and-play stories, so if you'd like to write porn, I'm open to whatever flavor of robot sex you want to throw at me. My favorite is definitely a combination of sticky, PNP, and tactile, and I will say that I find spark merging boring if it's the only thing going on – it's much more interesting as a dangerous show of trust that might be included in sexual goings-on, but is absolutely not a standard or primary part of sex.
Character Thoughts: I figured I'd do a little character section for my two beloved flight frames that feature in a ton of my requested ships, rather than rehashing the same thoughts in my prompts for each individual ship. Let me tell you about Pharma and Starscream.
- Starscream :: My favorite Starscream is one who is duplicitous and petty and nasty, yes, but who is also intelligent and ambitious and with so much to prove. I like him best played off characters who are also highly intelligent and who therefore bring out more of that side of him and make him work his twisted little processor to keep up. I also like him played off of characters who are (relatively speaking) more grounded than him; the contrast is really satisfying!
I see Starscream as someone who is better at tactics than strategy; he can problem-solve in the moment but long-term plans are harder. I personally loved the concept (but not always execution) of President Starscream because I love fictional politics and because I really wanted to see him succeed as a leader. Starscream was never going to succeed as leader of the Decepticons (and it never goes well for him when he does take over from Megatron) but if he can figure out how to let people help him and not rely ruthlessly only on himself and favors and backstabbing, I think he could do well in politics. - Pharma :: My favorite Pharma is the Pharma who slippery-sloped himself into becoming someone monstrous, but who really did have good intentions at the start. I like him best as someone who was always difficult to be around, because he's self absorbed, he thinks he knows everything about everything and needs to be the best, needs to always be right, but who was also charismatic and brilliant enough to drag people past his flaws and into admiring and respecting him. I vastly prefer a Pharma who is complex to one who's just a one-note murdering psychopath, and I'm less interested in stories about Pharma who has 100% broken and has no rationality left, but I'm also not interested in a pre-war Pharma who is Nice. I really do think that there was some ugliness to him right from the start, and I love to see that no matter what point he's at in his timeline and fall from grace.
My ride-or-die Pharma ship is Pharma/Ratchet, and I do think that Pharma's obsessive need to both surpass Ratchet and be recognized BY Ratchet as someone capable, competent, equal to him or better, is vital to Pharma's character. I will be delighted if Pharma and Ratchet as exes, or Pharma's unrequited persistent interest in Ratchet, is included in a story for another Pharma ship, but really… Any mention of Ratchet is an excellent bonus for me. I do also enjoy Pharma/Tarn and if you want to throw that in as a fucked up past thing that happened, that's also good by me.
Prompts and Ideas:
- Brainstorm/Starscream :: My kingdom for scientist Starscream and Brainstorm! I'd love a pre-war or no-war AU most for this, but if you have post-war ideas I would LOVE to see what that looks like. Some ideas: mundane lab hijinks, the politics and pitfalls of academia, differences between seeker and other flight frame culture and the challenges of Doing Science without a science alt mode. I'd just generally love to see them winding each other up and enabling each other into doing more and more ridiculous and dangerous Science Antics. If you'd like a little more plot, a setup where The Institute exists and Starscream and Brainstorm both wound up working for it in some capacity would be fascinating.
- Minimus Ambus/Starscream :: I like this one as an opposites attract ship; Starscream could really benefit from a voice of reason and a grounding presence, while Minimus could really benefit from loosening up a bit and having some Starscream-flavored excitement in his life. I'd love any setup where they're obligated to work together or otherwise collaborate. I feel like they'd initially really hate each other, under most circumstances, but that a little forced proximity would help them get past that. I'd also love any setup where, for whatever reason, ONE of them has found something to really admire about the other and it's just a matter of the other one needing to catch up – they're both very stubborn, persistent characters so if either has a reason to keep dogging the other, they would. Beyond that general dynamic, I'm open to most any scenarios!
- Starscream/Wheeljack :: Pre-war, post-war, no-war and fully AU settings would all be amazing for this. I really love a dynamic where Wheeljack is the more reasonable one in the relationship, but where being Starscream's voice of reason only stretches so far, because Wheeljack is pretty out there himself. I'd love to see them doing science together, or any variations on politician Starscream supported by scientist Wheeljack. I'd especially love to see Starscream opening up and figuring out how to be at all emotionally vulnerable, at all trusting, and Wheeljack coaxing him along into better emotional adjustment and a fulfilling relationship.
- Megatron/Pharma :: I imagine this ship working best with either a canon-divergent setup mid-war, or one post-war where Pharma didn't go entirely off the deep end. They're both charismatic and strong-willed and stubborn about giving ground, and I'd love to see how they play off each other either in a setting where they have power and success, or one where they've each already done a lot of horrible things and are navigating atonement and amends in parallel. One specific scenario I'd love to see is the situation where Pharma's t-cog harvesting goes bad sooner and his only option is to defect to the Decepticons, despite how much he hates them. Anything exploring why Pharma hates the Decepticons quite so much would be super fascinating, played off the leader of the Decepticons himself.
- Misfire/Pharma :: The thing I would most love to see is any scenario where, for whatever reason, Pharma's success and advancement becomes tied to Misfire's success, forcing Pharma to figure out how to Manage Him and compensate for Misfire's astronomical levels of incompetence. I first imagined a boss/subordinate setup in a no-war setting, where highly regarded Doctor Pharma is forced to take Misfire on as an assistant for Office Politics Reasons or similar, but I will take any setup that forces them to work together, professionally or simply toward some other common goal. Bonus points for control freak Pharma realizing that getting someone as difficult as Misfire to do what he wants is Kinda Hot, extra bonus points for finding a way to incorporate Misfire's fucked up siphoning and blood-drinking, extra extra bonus points if Pharma is somehow both Into It and horrified.
- Pharma/Ratchet :: I will take anything. I'm most interested in pre-war or no-war settings exploring the early days of their relationship, and I would give a lot for fic where Pharma is high-strung and difficult and insufferable, but where the relationship manages to work, rather than souring and going bad. Post-war canon-divergent setups where something else happened to Pharma after the rust plague debacle on Messatine, where he and Ratchet meet up again later under any circumstances, would also be super interesting! I'd also kill for fic about the point where Pharma is in robot med school and Ratchet is his teacher. Or just about any AU setup! My one request is: please don't write me fic about how their relationship goes bad and ends bitterly, if they are the primary ship you're writing about. I've read enough of that already.
- Pharma/Tarantulas :: Let there be war crimes! Pharma and Tarantulas are the two characters I think of most as "someone who got way, way too obsessive over their object of interest" and the idea of them becoming obsessed with each other is twisted and delicious. Ratchet and Prowl can come too, if you like. I just want to see them being absolute nightmares with each other and having a great time – a more unhinged Pharma probably works better for this, one who's already lost most of his moral qualms, and I also think this would be a great ship for just throwing all kinds of weird, niche robot kinks onto.
- Perceptor/Whirl :: I would love to see anything set during their time with the Wreckers most of all! For a specific prompt, I would love the lightly-AU'd "spies and secret agents" plot where, for whatever reason, no other Wreckers are qualified and available for a specific mission, only Whirl can do the pedes on the ground stuff and only Percy has the knowledge to work as his handler, so they get thrown into an undercover spy mission together. Whirl would make a terrible spy and I need to see it. Overall, I'll love anything that really shows off the contrast of their personalities and/or their respective, deeply repressed insecurities.
- Prowl/Rewind :: My ideal dynamic here is one where Chromedome and Prowl are exes, Chromedome and Rewind are together, and Prowl is still (in some capacity) interested in Chromedome. I really like the idea of Prowl, someone who always wants to be in control, to be calling the shots, to be pulling the strings, having to give all that up to someone like REWIND, because Rewind has something he wants and there is no other way to obtain it. While this premise hinges a lot on Chromedome, what I'm really, really interested in is what sort of dynamic would form between Prowl and Rewind with Chromedome as bridge. I'd also be interested in other variations on that theme of "relationship linked by Chromedome as bridge" and I'd be fascinated to see how Prowl/Rewind could work if you fully subtract Chromedome.
- Skids/Tarn :: The thing I would love to see most of all is a missing-scene-style premise where, some way or another, Skids figures out who Tarn was way, way before he took on that name and has to grapple with their shared history while he is fixing the generators for Tarn at Grindcore. Bonus points for attraction and any form of consummation before Skids finds out the truth of what Tarn is doing there. For other ideas… I really want to see Skids/Tarn rather than Skids/Glitch and really want to see Skids having to grapple with someone he used to know transforming into someone he can barely recognize. Anything that hits that note would be amazing; I'm also up for other canon divergence, full-on AUs, or things set after the war. Just make it messy; I have a hard time imagining Skids/Tarn that's wholly pleasant.

General Thoughts: If the IDW Comics are my main Transformers canon, Prime is my FIRST Transformers canon. This is the continuity that made me go, oh my god, I want fanwork for this thing. (something that neither the G1 cartoon or the Bayverse movies managed, alas.) It has such a dear and beloved place in my heart; I love all of the Prime character designs, especially Starscream and Soundwave, I love how pointy and sharp-edged and angular all of the Decepticons are in Prime. This is the Transformers canon where I want stories set on Earth, with humans, but I'm also down for… Basically any sort of AU where the robots stay robots. I'd prefer the humans stay human, too. I'm not personally a big fan of "what if the human characters were robots on Cybertron?" AUs.
Re: other ships, I like Optimus Prime/Ratchet, Jack/Arcee, Megatron/Starscream, and Knock Out/Breakdown specifically and only if it's A Little Messed Up, because keeping your lover's reanimated corpse around to do horrific medical experiments on is just NOT a normal course of action which makes me think someone was in a healthy and well-adjusted relationship. I also like Optimus Prime and Megatron as exes. If you'd like to include any of these ships in mention or as background alongside my requested ship(s), have at it, but please do not include any other unrequested ships.

- Bulkhead/Miko OR Bulkhead/Miko/Wheeljack OR Bulkhead/Wheeljack :: I love Bulkhead and I love Miko!!! If anyone would want to fuck a robot, it's Miko. I'll take anything. Fic about Bulkhead and Wheeljack's time with the Wreckers, get-together fic for any of these ships, Miko getting to do more Wreckers Stuff with the robots, anything. Miko finding out about a past relationship between Bulkhead and Wheeljack (whether or not they resume it) and painting that relationship in flashback would also be neat. If you have AU ideas, hit me, this is the set of ships I've requested for TFP where I think there's the most AU potential. If you're NSFW inclined, any fic about Miko figuring out how to fuck one or both of them would be amazing.
- Dreadwing/Megatron :: Dreadwing is absolutely the Loyal Knight archetype in TFP and I love him more than is remotely justified. He's clever, he's powerful, he believes in Megatron and will do almost anything to realize Megatron's goals. I will love any fic that lovingly depicts Dreadwing. For specific prompts, any scenario where Megatron challenges Dreadwing to prove his loyalty (via mission or via sex both welcome), or anything that incorporates Dreadwing's need to find out what happened to his brother would be great. I like a knight/lord dynamic with these two so anything in that vein is exactly what I want to see.
- Dreadwing/Megatron/Starscream :: I'll take anything but the moment that VIVIDLY stuck in my head is the point where Megatron is forced to choose between Starscream and Dreadwing and just shoots Dreadwing cold. It makes me insane that even after all of Starscream's scheming and backstabbing, even with all the ways Starscream is just objectively the worse choice to have on his side, Megatron chooses him over the loyal follower who just thinks he's doing what's best for the cause with zero hesitation. My dream fic is the one that paints in the Megatron/Dreadwing and Megatron/Starscream relationships prior to that point in some romanti-sexual light, leading up to the point where Megatron makes his choice. Killing Dreadwing optional, I'm here for him just being rejected/abandoned/whatever, I love Dreadwing and I want to see him suffer.
- Knock Out/Starscream :: The two petty, vain bitches of the show! I'll take anything, I adore both of them and I adore their weird friendship that especially shines towards the end of the series. I'd especially love friends-with-benefits content woven into canon; actual NSFW depictions not required, I'd honestly have a ton of fun just watching them being ridiculous and/or trying to hide their interfacing from Megatron, Soundwave, the vehicons, whatever. I'd also be super down for a relationship of convenience setup where Knock Out wants Breakdown and Starscream wants Megatron and neither of them can have what they want, so they choose each other. Bonus points for (badly) roleplaying the other's preferred partner in berth.
- Knock Out/Blackarachnia :: I know this ship is peak nonsense. I will take anything. I will especially love femdom. For a specific prompt, I adore the episode where Knock Out accidentally turns Blackarachnia into a robot vampire and where she alone retains coherence and autonomy, and would love any story that plays further with the two of them and the robot vampirism concept. Blackarachnia keeping Knock Out like a delicious, horrible little pet would be AMAZING, extra bonus points for parallels to Knock Out keeping Breakdown's body that way.

General Thoughts: I've requested a lot of original work relationships and this letter is already an entire dissertation's worth of thoughts, so I've organized these ships into little groups with a uniting theme. Many of the tags are prompts unto themselves so if you already have an idea from the tag alone, run with it! If not, I'll be throwing out prompts and ideas that can be generalized across all the relationships with similar themes.
I love science fiction and fantasy settings!! Many of these requests are already explicitly SF&F but for the ones that aren't, if you'd like to throw them into a SF&F setting, please do! I love unique characters, fun interpersonal dynamics, and interesting worldbuilding, so anything with focus on those elements will be greatly loved. NSFW is far from a requirement but this is the "fandom" where I'm most willing and interested in reading stories that include dubcon or noncon. No pressure if that's not your cuppa, but if you are someone who likes to write things that are messy and ugly and not entirely pleasant, I will take your dead doves and treasure them dearly.
I view the gender specifications of ALL these tags merely as suggestions. I would prefer characters labeled as female not be swapped to become cis dudes but barring that, if you'd like to swap the listed genders to make a character trans, nonbinary, or female, have at it, I love any and all gender combinations and also love stories About Gender.

These are less "prompts" and more "themes I like and ideas about how those themes apply to specific requested ships." Feel free to throw any of these themes, in any combination, onto any of the ships I've requested here – not just the ones where I made the theme-ship connection.
- Identity Porn & Doppelgangers
- Selfcest :: This applies most to the actor/stunt double and pop star/eldritch horror ships. I adore selfcest and the push-pull, attraction-repulsion that can come with interacting with a version of yourself. With the actor, I like the idea of them being really into being with someone who was chosen and prettied up to resemble them as much as possible, and I'd love to see the stunt double leaning into that and playing it up, or conversely, being off-put and uncomfortable with the actor being so into that. With the pop star, I love the idea of the eldritch horror loving her so much that it literally wants to become (a copy of) her, and where meeting it forces her to grapple with her self-hatred and identity issues. Bonus points for a pop star whose sense of self has been warped by stardom/public perception/wearing a persona that doesn't necessarily jive with who she wants to be or thinks she is in private.
- Identity Issues :: This applies most to the android/ex-lover and clone/repo agent ships, but could apply to all these ships. I'm fascinated by how characters construct identity for themselves and by what sorts of things might challenge their identity and sense of self. With the android, how much does it know about the dead person it was based on? Can it convincingly impersonate that person, and how does that identity feel – ill-fitting and wrong? Correct, but like it's struggling for perfection? Some other way altogether? How does interacting with the ex-lover make that easier or harder? With the clone, there are the same issues of "how much does it know/how well can it replicate being the person it was based on?" but also the issue of: the original is still out there somewhere. How does that impact its agency, sense of self, and options for what kind of life it can have? With both characters, there is also the question of, to what degree does their world consider them "people" versus "objects" or "belongings"?
- Comfort & Belonging :: I love seeing characters making the most of a tough situation, especially one that is both weird and challenging, so I'd love to see what makes a bad situation better for these characters! Can the ex-lover, repo agent, or eldritch horror do anything to make things easier for the other character? What do any of these characters do to comfort themselves? What does their place in the world look like and do they feel like they belong, like they deserve it, or like there is anything they can do to change or otherwise improve it? I love explorations of agency, especially when they want to look at what it means not to have it, or to have limited execution of it, or ways characters exert agency in unique and unexpected ways.
- Selfcest :: This applies most to the actor/stunt double and pop star/eldritch horror ships. - Leader & Right Hand :: I am eternally weak to ships comprised of one powerful and competent authority figure, plus the person who would die for them without question, do anything to realize their goals, and just generally place their importance above that of anything and anyone else. It's about the loyalty, but it's also about that loyalty being deserved, and there is overlap between the leader/second dynamic I like and a good lord/knight dynamic. I'd love to see this take on any of these four ships (or probably some others I've requested)! Bonus points for a leader/lord who won't let their second spend their life or their talents cheaply, because their devotion is reciprocated and their leader would suffer terribly to lose them.
- Workplace Domesticity :: I think all of these ship setups really lend themselves to worldbuilding or general fleshing-out of the "workplace" setting, either in terms of how the second helps the leader or in terms of showing what a full and interesting life the characters are living. What does the cult believe in? How does the intergalactic government work? What are the library's internal politics like? I love the contrast between the broad-strokes Rules of the World and the little, mundane things that make the characters' lives tick. I will love this with any requested ship.
- Fictional Politics :: I will take this with literally any requested ship, but especially these four, where "politics" is less in reference to governance and more in reference to the dynamics within any workplace or organization. With the librarian/corporate admin ship in particular, I'm imagining a setup where the admin is in a management role and the librarian isn't, but where she's also just been a quiet pillar of the library/community for so many years that she kind of, outclasses the admin, despite what the org structure says about their roles. Anything that plays with these sorts of power structures, with authority on paper vs the practical authority from doing the work and having the connections, will be much beloved by me.
- Objectification & Othering :: I love all situations where a non-human character doesn't quite see a human as a person, or just otherwise has issues with valuing other life in the way humans usually say is moral and correct. Each of these ships has at least one character who might have that mindset, be it a mad scientist or an alien. With the mad scientists, I love when their drive to Do Science or Achieve Their Vision eclipses their ability to see other people or even themselves as important; everything and everyone is expendable before the goal. With the aliens, I especially love when they're really fond of humans but kind of see them as pets or otherwise lesser life forms. This especially applies to the alien veterinarian treating the injured human like a pet, and to the sentient plant planet doing the same.
- Xenobiology :: Boy do I love xeno!! I love tentacles as much as the next xenofucker and would love their inclusion, but I am especially interested in extra-weird, extra-novel alien biology. How much variety of life has the alien veterinarian seen? Can they perhaps incorporate aspects of other species into themselves? How does a body that is an entire planet work, especially when its more of a plant than an animal or a person? With the mad scientist's lab abominations, I'd prefer they not be too human, so that's another area where you can Make It Weird. Plus how strange is their deity? Did it exist all along and they simply discovered it and started to worship it? Or did they in some way bring it into being with their belief, and is it therefore in some ways aligned with their image? Any and all freaky anatomy details welcome!
- Other Thoughts :: I'd love worldbuilding and setting details for all of these ships. I'd loooove to see the bored corporate employee sucked into whatever schemes the mad scientist is working on. With the mad scientist/deity ship, I would love if the mere existence of the deity, or a confrontation with it, majorly challenges the scientist's work or existing, firmly-held beliefs. With the retired athlete/alien superfan ship, I'd especially love to see an age and/or experience gap, especially when they come from two very different worlds and sets of life experience, and I'd also love any identity porn content that gets into how the alien sees the human, how that differs from how the human sees themselves, and how that might change their sense of self and their goals/lifestyle choices in their new home.
- Transformation :: I loooove transformation and all sorts of content that wants to talk about how characters experience their bodies. All kinds of transformation can be fun – is it decently quick but visceral (the monster turning into or back from the B&B hostess, perhaps)? Or is it slow and creeping, so the character almost doesn't notice at first (becoming a dragon)? Is the experience unsettling? Pleasurable? Addictive? Does it make some parts of the character's body feel wrong when they felt right before? Or do some of the new parts feel strangely, uncomfortably right? With the dragon transformation, I'd especially love a take where the experience is slow, gradual, and terrifying, and part of what's scary is how good and right it feels. With the B&B hostess and the shapeshifter appealing to a target, getting the other character's perspective on seeing the change could be really fun! I'd also like, on the flipside, to see how either of those characters feels about and experiences transformation, as a being where transforming is just a foundational part of how they exist.
- Body Horror & Eroticism :: Dovetailing from transformation, I also love body horror. This applies most to things like necromancy and the sorceress's hidden heart, where there isn't a transformation element but there is still the possibility of bodies doing things that are deeply wrong. I would love for the necromancers to have very different approaches, technically and not just in terms of desired outcome, to how they Do Necromancy, and I would extra love to see them just blatantly crossing moral lines in pursuit of their goals. With the sorceress, how literal the heart-removal and hiding is, is up to you, but I love the concept of the heart as a weakness and of someone needing so badly to excise that weakness that they might do it at the cost of their comfort, humanity, etc. Overall, what I like with body horror is playing with the uncanny valley and how things that just look and feel wrong can trip the line into being erotic. Any situation where a character is horrified by some transformation, feat of magic, or similar but is also uncomfortably, unbearably turned on by it, is amazing to me.
- Dramatic Reveals :: Pretty much all of these ships present an opportunity for an awesome dramatic reveal, be it of a character's identity – such as the B&B hostess or shapeshifter revealing a different form to their target – or of some other piece of information. The final moment where the dragon shapeshifter comes to terms with their new reality? One of the necromancers making a breakthrough discovery that casts their differing goals into a new light? The adventurer discovering the sorceress's heart and realizing the strange and terrible truth of what she did in order to hide it? All good options!
- Monster B&B Hostess/Amateur Detective :: I would love a setup where the detective was close with the hostess and is therefore uniquely qualified, between their sleuthing and personal knowledge, to detect an imposter. I would extra love if the imposter is really into the detective, for whatever reason (maybe it even took the hostess' place to get close to this person?), rather than having malicious aims. I would also love to find out why it wanted to replace this specific person, if it's for some other, plotty reason!
- Shapeshifter/Aroace Woman :: The thing I would like to see most is a setup where the shapeshifter usually takes on whatever human form their target would be most sexually or romantically attracted to. For what reason? Dealer's choice! Maybe they have a "true" form that is monstrous in some way, but they never show it to humans. Enter our protagonist: she has no or limited interest in sex or romance, so the shapeshifter can't get a read on a human face to wear, but she is really into monsters. So I'd love to see it struggling to assume unfamiliar forms, or to choose between forms, or being forced to flow from appearance to appearance, taking on and losing different monstrous traits, because its target is just that weird in her tastes and whatever drives its transformations is trying to accommodate for that.

I know my letter is AMAZINGLY overboard for an exchange with a 300 word minimum but I am nothing if not aggressively thorough. I genuinely had a great time writing it and I hope you enjoyed reading as much or as little as is useful to you – if it ends up that you go in a completely different direction than ANY of these prompts, that's perfectly fine with me.
